This route manages to combine the essence of the Atlantic coast dotted with steep coastlines and beautiful beaches with the inland route of the Sisalde Valley. A perfect combination of river walk, characterized by the presence of native riverside flora, and a promenade taking advantage of the magnificent landscapes on this balcony facing the Atlantic, which is part of the protected space ZEC Costa da Morte.
Sisalde is a river valley crossed by rivers such as O Bolaños and Sisalde that together with the proximity of the sea contribute to generate wet and favorable environmental conditions for the development of flora and fauna.
Despite the proximity to the town of Arteixo and the urban and industrial pressure increased exponentially in the early 1970s, this route is framed in an enviable natural corner as proof is the enormous biodiversity. It is worth noting the ornithological richness that brightens the journey through the presence and singing of different species that make it a good place for bird watching, but also cetaceans.
It combines with the blue path that connects the different beaches of the town hall until it allows to link with the center of Arteixo: a town hall with an important Celtic and Roman historical influence where you can visit in some castros such as those of Laxobre or Figueiroa, the coastal camp (excavations) do Reiro or the Roman bridge dos Brozos.
