The dishes made from local produce are ideal for pairing with the selection of “Betanzos” Protected Geographical Indication wines.
The menu at the Vega restaurant lists a wide selection of portions and dishes that are typical of Betanzos, such as the omelette. The local stew is another house speciality (available from 7th January until Carnival time – diners are advised to book in advance). In November the restaurant prepares the famous Betanzos cabbage in a fish that includes pork shoulder, chickpeas, pork ribs and chorizo sausage.
